Recorded a new mix for Bliss Point. Thanks Max for having me on your mix series. I enjoyed this mix a bunch. Got to play a bunch of my friends and collaborators music as well as a ton of my own music. Lots of Deep vibes. So deep yet so high. Wanted to give the people something to look forward to these days. Youngbloods "Five Years" Compilation

I’m featured on this 5 year celebration of NY based indie record label Youngbloods. Really awesome to be included in this roster. I’ve known label co-founder Nick Concklin for over 5 years and since I’ve met him, he’s always been passionate about his and John Moses’ label. I’ve got just about everything they’ve released on vinyl and cassette. Even have the slipmat! Such an honor.

The song I contributed is track 06 All Dogs Don’t Go To Heaven. It’s a nice ambient experimental piece highlighted by analog arp synths and saturated field recordings. I composed it Spring 2019 in Brooklyn NY. The session was mastered on Type IV Metal Cassette. When Nick asked me for an ambient piece for the compilation, I knew just what to give him.

The entire compilation is a great selection of ambient, acoustic, downtempo and chill music for listeners of all ages. My favorite from Five Years is track 03 Rowan Evans - Bird. The song features a free fall of sorts into a bed of unassuming comfort. The keys with delay and perfectly balanced reverb is a joy to listen to countless times over.

Five Years will be available on Bandcamp for 1 month then streaming everywhere in Jan. Enjoy!
